Liza's at the Palace - DVD Sneak Peak

I discovered this link today. It's a clip of the song "Clap Yo Hands" from Liza's recent performance in Las Vegas. She and the band recreated their Tony award winning "Liza's at the Palace" show that ran in NYC last holiday season. The performance was filmed for broadcast on PBS tv in the USA and also a DVD release next year.

Half of that show was dedicated to Kay Thompson - Liza's godmother, MGM vocal coach/arranger and nightclub entertainer extraordinaire. As well as her fabulous band (see Teach Me Tonight), this performance featured four wonderful singer/dancers who take the place of Thompson's backing group "The Williams Brothers".
