MUST SEE show: BILLY STRITCH in Melbourne

Billy Stritch was the first cabaret artist I saw play in New York City during my first visit in 2000. He was playing at the legendary Firebird Cafe with Cabaret Manager/Impressario Irv Raible and the divine songstress Roberta Flack in the audience.

Since then I've had amazing admiration for this composer, singer, pianist and musical director. I have many of his cds and his style influenced my own significantly.

Billy will be in Australia playing piano with his old friend Liza Minnelli and has just announced a solo show at Melbourne's Bennetts Lane Jazz Club on Monday Oct 26 @ 8pm.
